The Chinese Association of Iowa has hosted the annual Iowa Chinese New Year Celebration and Iowa Chinese Achievement Awards Ceremony at Grand View University since 2018 and also the annual New Year Celebrations and Iowa Chinese Achievement Awards Ceremony at AIB, DMACC, Drake University, Iowa State University, and the school districts of Ankeny, Des Moines, Norwalk, Urbandale, Waukee, and West Des Moines, in 2004-2017.
