Chinese Cultural Classes for Adult and Children Spring 2007

  • $60/all 6 class (members of the Chinese Association of Iowa)
  • $70/all 6 class (non-members of the Chinese Association of Iowa)
  • $15/ individual class
  • $10 discount/each for two or more students from the same household

China’s Economic Reforms and Growth - This session will explore steps the Chinese Government has taken to reform its economy and to sustain rapid economic growth. Topics covered will be agricultural reforms, privatization of State run enterprises, decision making processes in Chinese business, and a discussion of what Iowa can do to increase its business with China.

Learn how to cook Chinese cuisine

 

Children Class (schedule will be sent out soon): Learning Chinese language, Chinese classic, folk and fairy stories, folk music, song, and dancing, abacus, paper folding, traditional children games, Chinese checkers/chess, Chinese dominoes, Chinese jump rope and Chinese chopstick games.
